The music played by the Dogs is all comedy based. It ranges from Tom Lehrer, George Formby, through to The Bonzo's and The Temperence Seven with numbers such as The Monster Mash thrown in. They are constantly adding to the set list and 2010 has brought in many more to the set list.

Musical influences include The Alberts, Amy Winehouse & Winnie Atwell.

They are a show band rather than a function band, so it's best not to expect Abba, although they do a memorable rendition of 'Two Little Boys' by Rolf Harris, complete with tissues for the audiences to weep into, for whatever reason.

The show can be from 30 minutes to 90 minutes although most popular is 45 - 60 minutes as a cabaret spot.  Pointless props are very much a part of the show, and audience participation is greatly encouraged.
